Fingerprints Complete... Room Ready...

Cooper at about 10 months in the orphanage.
Home Study Complete.... check.
Immigration paperwork filed.... check.
Fingerprints taken... check.
Final Immigration forms received... still waiting.

Last week we had our fingerprints taken at the Customs and Immigration office in Aurora - just another step in our process to get the paperwork completed.  We expect to get our final immigration paperwork back the first part of April.  Once we have that document, we will begin planning our trip to China.  Right now, it looks like travel will be in June, but that is our estimated guess.

We expect updated pictures and a progress report soon - possibly in early April as well.  We will post them when we get them!

Two weeks ago, we had a visit from my sister Jodee and her fiancee Casey.  Casey used his amazing finish carpentry skills to put the professional's touch on Cooper's room.  Jodee spent the weekend behind the sewing machine and created an awesome set of curtains to go with the sailboat theme.  The room looks amazing, and we couldn't have done it without them, so thank you Jodee and Casey!

PS.  The picture isn't a new one, but what's a blog post without a photo?

Stay tuned!
