I am conducting a test to see if my VPN (I am using Express VPN) and my new blogging app (Blogsy) will work while I am in China. China does not allow people in China to access public networking sites so I have to go through a 3rd party website to get to my blog and Facebook. So here it goes!
We have our official itinerary for our 20 day adventure to pick up Cooper!
Day 1 - Fly! Colorado Springs to Chicago to Beijing
Day 2 - Arrive in Beijing - check into Crowne Plaza Wangfujing Hotel
Day 3 - Tour Beijing to include Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City
Day 4 - Visit the Great Wall
Day 5 - Depart Beijing for Zhengzhou - check into Crowne Plaza Hotel
Day 6 - GOTCHA DAY!
Day 7 - Finalize adoption in the eyes of the Chinese Government
Day 8 - Free day
Day 9 - Free day
Day 10 - Dragon Boat Festival
Day 11 - Depart Zhengzhou for Guangzhou - check into The China Hotel
Day 12 - Free day
Day 13 - Medical appointment
Day 14 - Fill out paperwork for consulate appointment
Day 15 - Get Cooper's passport
Day 16 - Consulate Appointment
Day 17 - Pick up Cooper's Visa
Day 18 - Depart Guangzhou for Hong Kong via train - check into Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel
Day 19 - Tour Hong Kong
Day 20 - Fly back to the USA!!!
I'm exhausted just looking at this itinery. 20 days is a very long time to be away from home. But it will be quite an experience!
